What is HEXATIAB® Activ gel?
HEXATIAB® Activ gel is a medical device for use as an adjunct in the treatment of:
- postnatal changes,
- ringworm,
- genital warts,
- in the prevention of recurrent herpes simplex type 2 (HSV-2).
Thanks to the dimethicone content it forms a protective barrier, isolating spaces exposed to infections. HEXATIAB® Activ gel contains a patented, active molecule Tiab.

HEXATIAB® Activ gel is a cream-gel based on TIAB, a complex of titanium dioxide functionalized with covalently linked monovalent silver, whose primary action is to constitute a barrier that protects the tissues and create the best condition to prevent recurrences of bacterial, mycotic and viral infections, in particular herpetic.
The presence of dimethicone brings significant contribution to the film-forming action of the medical device, helping to create a barrier effect.
In addition, due to its characteristics and to the ancillary function of its components, HEXATIAB®Activ gel achieves a moisturizing effect. Aloe Vera has lenitive, calming, hydrating, refreshing, soothing effects, thanks to the presence of vitamins, minerals and amino acids, that give quick relief to the typical discomfort caused by inflammation, such as burning and tingling symptoms caused by Herpes or by the presence of Candida or vaginal warts; furthermore, it confers tissue tone and elasticity, supporting the wound healing process and helping to maintain physiological immunological defences.
HEXATIAB® Activ gel exerts a dual action:
- isolates the area of application from external microbial aggression;
- limits microbial colonization in the area of application, creating the best possible conditions for tissue regeneration.

How to use HEXATIAB® Activ gel?
- Before use, clean the area to be treated and dry thoroughly.
- Apply a thin layer of cream-gel onto the affected area.
- Do not massage.
Apply the product once a day for a period of seven days.
The cream-gel should be applied to the areas typically affected by bacterial, mycotic or viral infections before they occur in the form of active lesions (redness, blisters, ulcers) or the onset of symptoms (itching, burning, discomfort, etc.). Each disturbing symptom of your intimate zones report to your doctor.
The product contains hyaluronic acid and the components that make up the best possible conditions for tissue regeneration. Use as an adjunct in the treatment of post-partum.

- No overdose episodes have been observed.
- No interactions with drugs and medicinal substances have been observed.
- It is important to tell your doctor or pharmacist of all adverse reactions.
- The product after exposure to sunlight may take slightly yellow tint. This does not affect the performance and life of the product.
