Hexanova participated in the 16^th national conference on Practical Medicine – Gynecology and Obstetrics, which took place on 22^nd-23^rd of Nov. 2019 at the ICE Congress Center in Cracow. The conference gathered almost 1,500 participant in the field of gynecology and obstetrics. During the session issues related to orthopedics, oncological gynecology, psychiatry and sexology were raised. Lecture topics included, among others: non-obstetric indications for cesarean section, topics related to breast cancer or endometriosis (guest lecture by Prof. Lil Valentin from Sweden).

On October 3-5^th 2019 in Wroclaw, Hexanova took part in the national congress entitled “Gynecology and obstetrics every day“, under the scientific guidance of Professor Mariusz Zimmer. The event was attended by many outstanding specialists in the field of gynecology and obstetrics. During the conference there were 2 lectures on:

1) Probiotics during pregnancy – what does the gastroenetrologist think about it? Professor Jacek Muszyński, MD, Ph.D

2) Ionic silver formulations (TIAB) in the management of abnormal cytology, Wojciech Homola, MD

During the lecture conducted by Professor Jacek Muszyński from the Warsaw Clinic of Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw, an innovative probiotic for pregnant and breastfeeding women was presented – Lactinova® mama.

In turn, Doctor Homola presented the results of the study, where the effectiveness of TIAB silver (Hexatiab® softgel) in the treatment of abnormal changes in cytological smears (ASC-US and LSIL) was presented. Test results confirmed the effectiveness of TIAB silver in inflammation and abnormal cytological smears at the level of 76%.

During the international conference on the treatment of Ranwa-Wilma 2019, on 06.06.2019, a poster session took place in Gothenburg, during which the results of the study were presented on accelerating the healing of postpartum wounds using silver and copper microparticles (Hexatiab® gel).

The motto of the conference was “Wound care focused on the person. Hexanova took part in a conference on the cycle “Treatment of a Chronic Wound” which was held on June 5^th 2019 at the didactic center of the Medical University of Warsaw.

During the event, lectures were delivered by an outstanding class of specialists in the field of wound healing (including dr hab. Marek Kucharzewski – vice president of the Polish Wound Medical Association and mgr Elżbieta Szkiler). The conference was organized by the Evereth® company.

Infections in gynecology and perinatology10-11.05.2019, Zakopane

On May 10-11^th , 2019 in Zakopane, the Hexanova company participated in the 1^st Scientific-Training Conference “Infections in Gynecology and Perinatology.” The subject of the conference concerned the treatment of infections during pregnancy in the perinatal period and in gynecology. The event was an opportunity to exchange experiences among gynecologists, obstetricians and neonatologists in the field of current standards infection’s treatment, both in doctors’ offices and in hospital practice. During one of the lectures, the Professor discussed the use of TIAB silver as an alternative to antibiotic therapy in the treatment of bacterial and mixed infections.

The conference was conducted by eminent specialists in the field of gynecology and obstetrics.
